Ever since i first saw Haroshi's work, probably a couple of years ago now, I have been astounded by the quality and craftmanship involved in the production pieces. These amazing multicolored sculptures are made from broken skatedecks, bound together and sculpted into these amazing and seemingly impossible shapes.
In the last 2 years Haroshi has become a superstar in certain circles. His breakthrough exhibition led to him being invited to Nike to produce a 1 off pair of dunks in his signature plywood style. More sell out exhibitions followed and now we have this Haroshi, DLX and HUF collaboration exhibition along with a range of product. Personally i think the product side is tenuous at best, but i will require that box logo tee thankyou very much - and i'd buy the 5-panel cap too if that was my kinda thing!
