Medicom have done a few collaborations with Karimoku recently for their wooden range of toys. Preveious collaborations included the wooden Kaws Companion and a 400$ Be@rbrick. This Be@rbrick marks the 77th anniversary of Yoshida & Co, makers of Porter Bags.

To celebrate they have produced this 400% Be@rbrick made from Padauk wood. Reportedly made in super limited quantities (tho we have no numbers) each figure carries 2 wooden bags inspired by Yoshida's iconic Porter Silhouette.

Not available till October the figure will set you back ï¿¥74,000 JPY (approximately $915 USD).

OK, to be honest, I don't get the hype. Every year, Japanese fashion brand UNDERCOVER teams up with Medicom to produce a new variant of their GILAPPLE light. It's a small, realistic-looking apple with an old-timey car headlight wedged into its core.
