San Francisco-based artist Mark Nagata, the owner of Max Toy Co, recently hand-sprayed one of his King Negora sofubi figures with Monster Kolor paints. The finished one-off piece, shown herein, has been made available through Yahoo!'s SnappyAuctions service and is offered as part of the I Love Akihabara (a major shopping district in Tokyo, Japan) event. With four days remaining in the bidding, it has already received a total of 41 bids leading to a current high price of ¥51,010, a sum just shy of $650 after conversion.
