If you've got a PS3 or a PlayStation Vita there's absolutely no excuse for not downloading Sound Shapes by Queasy Games, and the game is now available globally!

I downloaded it yesterday, haven't had too much time playing it - so this isn't a review - merely a recommendation (or Order if you will) to download it. The game focuses around the control of a blob who moves around levels collecting round coin like objects, but despite already sounding like an old school mario game this is a platformer like no other. as you collect these coins, or more accurately 'notes' more or less detail is added to the soundtrack, and as you progress the entire level makes up a complete track. It's amazing stuff and you really need to play it to fully appreciate it, but check out the trailer:

The music for the game has been produced by the likes of Beck, Deadmau5, Superbrothers, Jim Guthrie, I Am Robot and Proud, Pyramid & Pixeljam!

The normal campaign seems like it's pretty easy to play through, the real work (and all Trophies) beginning in 'Death Mode' which sounds scary enough. Then there's the level/track creation tools, which i've had a little play with and downloaded other players tracks and the results can be amazing! I am playing it on PS3 but i really wish i had a Vita to play on this using headphones. I think that would really add to the experience.

Anyway - go download it from the PSN now! Oh and by the way, if you buy it on one device, you get it for free on the other! awesome idea!
