Italian artist/designer Daniel Del Nero's "After Effects" series is composed of architectural scale models constructed of black paper covered with flour and a layer of mold. Yes, mold. By doing so, Del Nero's miniature landscapes look like ghost-cities and genuine urban decay.  Del Nero says on his website; "My purpose is to talk about the sense of time and destiny of the planet after the human species through the sense of restlessness which abandoned buildings are able to communicate."

I see these images and immediately think of Chernobyl.  Check out Daniel Del Nero's website for more of "After Effects".
