Nick Knite, the brilliant mind behind Funk Food has teamed up with the German based basketball and streetwear label K1X to release what has to be one of the coolest versions of Nick's MechaBunny, an iconic paper figure if ever there was one. The sweet part of this release isn't so much the toy, which at first glance I want as badly as any piece of paper I've come across, it's what it stands for.
This particular MechaBunny features a take on the K1X DCAC mask, which is very reminiscent of a Luchador wrestling mask, and celebrates the launch of K1x's NYC store. The cool part? 20% of what they make goes to Folorunsho Sharity, a project that works directly with the disadvantaged youth in Freetown, Sierra Leone. If paper toys aren't your thing, head on down to the store itself at 359 Lafayette Street, NY, NY and check out all their other gear.
