Huck Gee has announced his new set of custom Munnys: ten signed & numbered copies of The Turtlebacked Cluttermonk. From his details, he appears to be modeled after the Buddhist monks of the Shaolin Monastary. The accessory laden turtle shell backpack is exquisite, but the added touch of the paper lantern guiding the monk and the little red bird standing on the shell are both truly thoughtful additions. As always, Gee amazes with the quantity and quality of these details that he imbues his custom work with.
Each of these figures comes in a hand-assembled, laser etched wooden crate which is placed inside a cardboard box to ensure safety during shipping. Sold on a first come, first serve basis, these pieces cost $1250 and interested parties should e-mail sales [at] huckgee [dot] com to enquire about availability and reserve a copy.
