After stumbling across San Francisco-based illustrator Kim Herbst's work last week, I've been consistently motivated to keep returning to her site and blog to see more. There's a romantic decisiveness about her style--whimsical, yet dark--and often rooted in a pretty nifty understanding of geek culture. You can check out more at her website or one of two upcoming group shows: February 15th at Bottleneck Gallery in Williamsburg or March 9th at Public Work's "Beasts & Beats" in San Francisco.
