As part of the Kounter Kulture show Liverpool's finest Dave White had his own show within the Truman Brewery space. Following hot on the heels of the amazing "Heroes and Villains" show in Newscastle, this time he focused on war imagery from classic comics and with a hint of Lichtenstein thrown in for good measure.

I've always liked Dave's work but pictures really don't do it justice as they miss all the textures he uses by layering paint and the look that creates on a canvas. I was also lucky enough to meet Dave at the show and he's a top guy who had some very interesting news about a vinyl-related project due in mid-09. If it looks anything close to as good as it sounds you won't be disappointed!
