Whilst American members of the Clutter family was in town last week I managed to grab a look at this show in London.

Entitled 'Splatter' its sees J Cauty & Son re-imagining cartoon violence in a much more realistic (Itchy & Scratchy-esque) fashion. For example in the above sculpture Bugs firing a gun at Daffy would normally result in his beak ending up on the wrong side of his head. And in the below picture is an unthinkable situation... Tom actually getting Jerry??... Never!! ;)

The show is definately worth catching, especially if you're a fan of Warner Bros, Disney, H&B;, MGM cartoons like me. I only wish the show was much more extensive. The Aquarium is a small gallery and the large sculptures demand so much space so as to appreciate them to the fullest extent.

More Tom & Jerry geekiness to come from me in the future for sure!! Maybe even this weekend!
