Coarse Toys are one of those companies that we started with at Clutter, featuring in our very first issue and sending us some of the very first figures to adorn Clutters shelving of doom! Since that time they have just got better and better producing high end figures like Paws and the Noop/Jaws figures along with the busts and sets of figures. This latest offering is entitled 'Casting Shadows'...

The former friends Noop and Nism sit with nothing to break the silence between them. "Not letting its treasure out of sight, nism endlessly longs for a smile. The smile that could seal a friendship forever. But the distant noop must remain alone, and find his own way out of the shadows."

Casting Shadows features a sitting Noop (7") and his squid-like former companion Nism (4"). Also included in the bundle is a Paws kite and a set of Coarse Type. A beautifully realised set, even if the setting and story behind them is a little beyond me - there is no doubting the quality of the production. This 'Loser'  HKG Edition is limited to 200pcs and will retail for HK$2488 which is $320 and is available exclusively from www.coarsehkg.com from May 3rd at 7.59 PST.

I don't think I need to explain why Coarse Toys have garnered a cult following. And the German duo's illustrations are just as alluring as their toys.

Missed out on coarse toys' first cancan release? Well follow your nose to a brand new "ignited" colorway. Fans of the brand will know that the "ignited" moniker means that this release is cast in vibrant glow-in-the-dark vinyl.
