If you didn't already know about this then shame on you. Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson have been working together to bring us the most amazing looking computer animated film. Now to be honest i tried and failed to get into the Tintin books, i think its something to do with Snowy always bitching about Tintin and calling him a dumbass and i just assume that the film wont have anything for Snowy to say except throw him some dirty looks occasionally. Anyway check out the trailer!

The animation looks amazing and i love the fact its called 'The Adventures of Tintin: The secret of the Unicorn' which hopefully means this will be a long running and multi film endeavour between these modern giants of cinema. The film uses body and facial motion capture to map the animation of the animated charater models which is then touched up and built upoin by the talented folk at WETA.

We don't get too close a look at Tintin in this trailer, just glimpses but i cant wait till christmas to see this film! Not sure i'll bother with 3D cos it gives me a headache normally but this is gonna be a film worthy of multiple cinema visits!

Film stars Jamie Bell, Daniel Craig, Andy Serkis, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and more interestingly the screenplay was written by Steven Moffat, Edgar Wright & Joe Cornish. Which translated into interestingness means the brains behind modern Dr Who, Sherlock, Press Gang!, Jekyll (all for BBC) as well Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz as well as comedy genius, half of Adam and Joe and Director of Attack the Block. and none of that includes Spielberg and Jacksons credits as directors and producers! CAN'T WAIT!
