French street artist, designer & illustrator Fafi has done signings at Collette (window display above from them) and Galerie LJ to support her new graphic novel & art book "The Carmine Vault," but now she's heading Stateside for one stop only: tonight, April 16th, from 6PM to 9PM at Gallery Nucleus (210 East Main St, Alhambra, CA 91801). The gallery will have brand new works by Fafi on display, as well as three new exclusive prints being released by her there and free Fafi inspired cupcakes by Little Sweeties Cupcakes. And, of course, there will be a raffle for Fafi goodies! Everyone that buys a copy of her new book at the event gets a free raffle ticket, which are otherwise $2 a piece; prizes include a signed print, signed books, and limited edition Fafi designed tote bags.

Curious what "The Carmine Vault" looks like? Fafi has made a couple of videos that show off the pages in a humorous and fun manner:

You might remember Hyrule Historia, which collected the development history and lore of Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda series. I pass on this because the coverage for the pre-3D era was pretty light.
