The third-annual Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo -- C2E2 for short -- is in full swing this weekend at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL, running through Sunday afternoon, and we've spent a bit of time wandering the show floor and snapping photos of some of the sights.

C2E2 has become Chicago's biggest pop culture convention in a short span of time, and what started primarily with a focus on comics has expanded more and more each year to encompass film, animation, video games, and much more, with a couple creators even offering C2E2-exclusive vinyl toys and plushes this year. And naturally, there are plenty of independent artists and creators showing off their work in the Artists' Alley, not to mention scads of creative cosplayers walking the floor.

Here's a quick look at what to expect from C2E2 this year, if you're on the fence about attending, and we'll have some additional posts from the show going up throughout the weekend.
