Stitches and Glue are showing at Cockpit Art's Open Studio event this Friday June 15th & Saturday June 16th from 6pm until 9pm then Sunday the 17th 12-6pm.
165 Cockpit Artsâ designer-makers will open the doors to their private work studios, offering the public the rare opportunity to see behind the scenes and buy direct from the designers themselves.
Stiches and Glue is a design house based in London of freelance puppet/toy/prop/costume makers and designers working in the special FX industry. The have an awesome Monster Workshop
Stitches and Glue's large puppet Rube is back from his travels and will be making a special appearance. I'd go just to see him. Here's Rube socializing and macking at a show in London last year.
The Open Studio happens twice a year and is an event when all of the designers welcome the public in to view and potential purchase their stuff. If you're in London go check it out! I'm sure you'll see some pretty cool stuff.
