The LEGO Great Ball Contraption is a mesmorizing machine made from LEGO components. The elaborate GBC stretches 1.5 m X 6.5 m & took Japanese builder/creator Akiyuki almost two years to create - 600 hours to be exact. As the17 modules interact & pass 500 balls around, the LEGO Great Ball Contraption resembles a huge game of Mouse Trap. The video shows what a creative project the contraption really is. Take a look at it and watch every module in action. Amazing.

LEGO Ideas is like Kickstarter but without money. Someone builds a cool idea out of LEGO - often an IP that LEGO has yet to obtain the license for - or model it out with software and submits it to other LEGO fans for voting.
