The Washington State Artist Trust commissioned Seattle artist & illustrator Marlin Peterson to paint a mural somewhere in Seattle. Unable to find a suitable wall, Peterson got the idea to paint the mural on a large roof. Ok, but who would actually see the mural if it's located on a roof? Peterson solved that problem by choosing to paint the mural on the roof of the Seattle Center Armory, which is located right underneath the Seattle Space Needle. When seen from above, the 2 daddy long-legs look as though they're crawling all over the building. Pretty cool.

Check out Marlin Peterson's website for more photos.
