Mameshiba San Kyodai

Waaaan! If your collection is missing some kawaii goodness, check out these Mameshiba San Kyodai vinyl toys by Amuse. The vinyl must be extra soft because you can squeeze them to make them squeak. It's like a dog toy, but not for dogs, but in the shape of a dog. Hmm. Anyway, these 1.5 inch toys are shipped blind and are available through Rotofugi for less than $2 each.

Kidrobot have been doing a great job of bringing OG toy designers back into their fold. Following up releases from Nathan Jurevicius, Junko Mizuno, and more is a new piece by Joe Ledbetter called Pelican't. This poor guy has a beak more like a strainer than a bucket.
