This made me laugh...Community Support Officer gettin' down wiv da yoof. Nice deck too!
But once you get past the obvious lol factor of this dude wiping out on a vert - anyone else see Jake Brown's wipe out at the X Games....owwww....the idea isn't that stupid. The Officers attend skateboarding workshops aimed at 12 to 16-year-olds, where they mix with the youngsters and get tuition from expert skaters.
Although i'm not sure I agree with his quote: "It lets the youngsters see a more human side to the police. The kids see us down there skateboarding and see us as cool, rather than something they have to fear."
Police? Human? Nah that idea will never catch on ;)
