I have always really admired Rock posters, they combine two of my biggest loves, music and art. I don't really know why I never brought any, I guess I didn't want to start yet another expensive collection, and also, unfortunately, we really don't have the culture of them in this country (something which i think we should change!!). So after spending a weekend with Michael Motorcycle and staring at his amazing art all weekend I was well and truly hooked.... Fast forward to the 3 bears signing at RGG, a dangerous place for a new poster addict (i nearly walked out with at least 3). RGG is unlike any other gallery in the country for poster art, and here I found a few more artists, and posters i have fell in love with .

So i have decided that i am going to share my new found love with you guys, and when i find a new artist/poster i fall for i am going to tell you all about it! Whether you like it or not ;) At the moment RGG have a large Jay Ryan (Chicago bassed artists) collection on display in their Underground gallery. The simplicity of the designs, combined with their hand drawn nature and choice of colours really blew me away! Then i find the one that really draws me in... Alkaline trio (see above).... Only one of my favorite bands!! Trouble is it had a £100 price tag ekkk, It is from 2006 though so worth it. I'll be saving my pennies thats for sure!

I strongly recommend checking out Jay's work, its cute and awesome! www.thebirdmachine.com
