Taking over Stolenspace for the next three or so weeks is Bristol's abstract stroke master Mr Jago. Been a big fan of his work since I first laid eyes on it and this show didn't disappoint with a nice mixture of works on canvas, silk and paper. I was seriously tempted by a few of the canvases but they were a tad out of my league....however the better half did purchase one of the acrylic on paper pieces (below). It will be coming home in about a month!




 

The larger canvases looked stunning and definitely showed an evolution in his style. But the star of the show was his Japanese screen...oh for £5k!
