Just when Coarsetoys fans thought they had a bit of time to save for a potential SDCC release, news comes of a new version of the well received False Friends set "Blackout". As the name suggests this set abandons the bright colours of the last few releases for something altogether darker - both the Noop and Paw sporting mainly black/grey colours.

This set is limited to 300 pieces and comes in a premium black box, stamped with gold and black foil. The package is completed with 3 original coarse poster prints and sealed by a transparent sleeve with the signature paw! nose. Each set includes a family and friends application card.

As usual Friends and Family members get first shot at the release with the remainder then going on general release with the set due to ship in mid-June. Priced at HK$3,388 (approx £290) including global airmail go to the Coarse wbesite to order:

I don't think I need to explain why Coarse Toys have garnered a cult following. And the German duo's illustrations are just as alluring as their toys.

Missed out on coarse toys' first cancan release? Well follow your nose to a brand new "ignited" colorway. Fans of the brand will know that the "ignited" moniker means that this release is cast in vibrant glow-in-the-dark vinyl.
