LA artist Mari Inukai brings her artwork to life in the form of the almost undescribably cute set of figures here before you. New company Inner Sanctum (at least new to me) are responsible for this 7 figure set who work together to conquer the world through love. More pics to inside...

Each figure stands 6" tall and oozes quality and love through every part of its creation. The solid clear silicone filled bodies all feature a solid floating heart which just adds again to the beauty and genius of the manufacturing of these figures. As mentioned over on VinylPulse when they posted the figures: For the major toy fans and people the floating heart is something for us to geek over and bask in the technical achievement. For everyone else it just adds to the damn cuteness of them all.

The figures are due to be sold individually (bad news for people who neeeeeeed a set of them) and some figures will be more limited than others, down to a run of 100 for GID figures. But they will retail for approximately $100 each. Only about a dozen full sets will be made available.

If you are interested in a set get in touch with Inner Sanctum via Rachel Stone here

I think we can all agree its a stunning set

Thanks to Elizabeth Ito for pointing this one out. Sayama Forest that inspired the utter genius that is "Tonari no Totoro" (My Neighbour Totoro) is under threat from urban development.
