Finally its time that all us artists can reveal our Mini Tea customs to the world, actually thats a lie, way too many artists let their Tea's leak early. Naughty artists! Big thanks to Mr Matt JOnes aka Lunartik for putting together this collection of artists/customisers for the show that is currently taking place at the 43degree Gallery in Berlin as part of Pictoplasma 2011...

To be honest when i look back at this figure it feels like i didn't do much to it and then remembered that i sculpted it  a new head. Really happy with how it came out and i think it might just give me the confidence to sculpt myself a figure that could potentially be cast in resin, but we'll see how that goes this year. Alot of us artists/customisers have this dream, and it's definitely something i'd like to give a go sooner rather than later.

This figure is tiny so it was extra hard to sculpt, most of the details were added on with milliput and then the shapes refined either by carving with a scalpel or sanding. Once finished the figure was split into its respective parts and airbrushed. the body parts with yellow base with orange and red fades, the cup with a black-blue-aqua fade with white spattering. Kept the paint job simple, all my hard work was in the skull head. I think you will def be seeing this head again in illustration work, hopefully very soon!

Ok sorry this took me so long to post up Part 2 of this coverage, i had a lot of photos to wade through. So as part of the now pretty much legendary Dudebox launch last night there was a sizable custom show from a bunch of artists you know, and probably more artists you don't know yet.
