Check out these awesome new toys from Joseph Harmon and Justin “Scrappers” Morrison based on Justins book Owl’s Surf Club. Due for release next week we take a peek at the new figures.

2 figures will be released: El Capitan and Owl Kahanamoku. Hand sculpted and cast by Harmon and both artists painted the figures. I love em, we're a real sucker here for self produced figures and these have a particular 'early Jon Knox' kinda feel to the sculpt and that rocks. The blue and pink owl in particular is totally badass.

The first set of figures will be released on Monday March 26th on The Department of Awesome's Shop. You'll have a chance to score customs every day of the week till next Saturday. And you can win the clear Sunset editions of Owl or El Capitan by Liking the Department of Awesome on Facebook and leaving a comment telling them what is most "awesome".

Monday March 26th, a different set of Cap&Owl custom painted figures will be released from the Department of Awesome’s Shop. So folks will have a chance to score a different set of customs everyday of the week till Saturday.
