Finally trailer no3 for The Dark Knight Rises gets me excited for the film which is now practically only 2 months away! I'm still hesitant about how good a bad guy Bane is for the big screen, especially in Chris Nolans very non comic book feeling Gotham.

For a start Bane is much easier to understand in this trailer, hopefully that means that they've been back through and cleaned up his dialogue or completely re-recorded his lines and digitally messed with them, rather than the original muffled voice we have previously heard. But that is the tiniest of things to point out cos this trailer is full of info and action to get excited about.

So Bruce Wayne has a beard, big news - well it at least means he hasn't been dressing up as Batman in a while. Seems like Bane catches up with Bruce Wayne and thats what prompts him to come out of retirement (rise). Don't forget that Bane as well as being Batmans physical superior is also pretty much a genius who deduces that Bruce Wayne is Batman. We also see later on Bane carrying and throwing away Batman's cowl, having presumably unmasked him in battle. Even better we see a mid air heist teased to free Bane from his prisoner transport flight - whether this is how the character is introduced to us or happens mid film is yet to be seen.

We also see alot more of Catwoman/Selina Kyle who presumably is going to play the classic bad girl turned good. Seems like she may be involved in getting Bane to Bruce Wayne and ends up fighting with Batman later on. Very much a not unheard of kinda storyline for her but part way through the trailer she def looks like she regrets what she's done, and there's also a snapshot of her in prison.

Well people, this film is gonna have one hell of a runtime to fit all this stuff in it cos there's plenty more in the trailer i can't even begin to analyse but I had my doubts for this 3rd movie in the trilogy, now we have to wait and see what extra reveals come in the next 2 months. Will Batman die? is Ra's al Ghul and Talia in the movie. Why does Joseph Gordon Levitts cop character get so much screen time? is it just cos he's a bankable actor now or is there more to it?
