So it's been a while, but there are NEW Sprogs on there way from UK Robot Resin Master Cris Rose.

There are four new Lunar Sprogs in total (shown below in their blank prototype form)

Like all other Sprogs, they have no articulation, but they have cool little removable space-domes and are twice the size of the first Sprogs released.

Here's a photo for comparison with a cheeky little 'Renold the maintenance Sprog', who incidentally is being retired and replaced with Mk2 in the new year)

These guys are almost 4" tall, at 3.75" and weigh 100g each.

The Lunar Sprogs are the first household bots to be rated for the vaccum of space, cosmic radiation and the course, sticky, static dust that lays over the moon's surface. With over 2 million people now resident on Earth's satellite, the demand for Sprogs that aren't limited to the inside of the biodomes has been steadily growing. Need a little bot that can trundle round a crater and retrieve your golf balls? A guy with radio comms and big arms to shift your pleasure-rover out of the canyon you just drove it into? You need one of the new Lunar Sprogs.

Each with their own personality, your Sprog says a lot about you:

Rigadon  (2 eyes, chiseled jaw) is your friendly, cheerful chap who'll crack on with even the most mundane task with cheer

Runcorn  (1 grumpy eye) is a no-nonsense workhorse. He'll get the job done one way or another and i'm sure he'll love every moment, regardless of appearances.

Rutherford (2 eyed brain in a jar) is upgraded with extra processing power for those of you doing SCIENCE out on the surface. A thoughtful problem solver that loves cake.

Roemer (18 eyes. 18!!) sees everything. 360 degrees. In stereo. In Xrays. In LIDAR. In millimeter-wave RADAR. Nothing gets past Roemer. He's got real vision.

The price of these new Sprogs, given their size and domes, will be slightly more than the other Sprog's $65 cost at $75.

Keep an eye out for Edition A coming soon to crisrose.bigcartel.com
