Many a time we've looked at the latest Kaws figures and products and yawned the biggest yawn we can muster (mostly the products and lame clotthing re-issues than the quality Medicom figures tho). Kaws is big league now and there's a part of me that resents it a bit and refuse to like everything that comes out of his Original Fake factory but i have to say I really do like these Kaws lighbulbs made in conjunction with the Standard Hotel.

Lets face it, there are people out there who if Kaws farted in a jar and drew X's on it would prob queue round the block to be in with a chance of owning it. Dunno if Pharell would have a pre-order on that one tho. He probably will however stock up on lighbulbs so he can use them to light his grotesquely large KAWS collection in one of his many beachside villas (sorry for my end of the week bitterness - i'll get to the praise in a second, promise).

Here it is: Yeah so anyway i'm loving the lighbulbs, maybe its the designer in me but boiling the whole KAWS hype down to the basic iconic XX's works for me and rather than them being added to an existing product, this one has been designed around them and as a result they look like a much more well thought out and quality KAWS item. And seeing as a set of 3 will set you back just $65 they're even reasonably priced (till they get on eBay that is).
