Medicom has you Be@rbrick fans covered with this new Japanese series of figures that will be available from their new store in the record breaking Skytree tower shopping complex in Tokyo.
In celebrating the opening of the store and the newly built Skytree Tower Medicom have looked back to their roots and national history and tradition for this series. Prominently you will see the traditional Manekineko (Beckoning Cat) which will be available in 100 and 400% versions. Other designs include Shishimai (Lion dance), Kabuki, Buriki Kingyo (Toy Goldfish) and Daruma.
Shishimai and Buriki Kingyo figures, like the Manekineko are available in 100 & 400% versions. Kabuki is only available in 100% and Daruma is the only one that will be available in 1000% size. Real shame as I would have anticipated alot of stores wanting to have a 1000% Manekineko in their window to beckon in customers.
All of the figures will be available from the new Medicom Store from Tuesday May 22
