Taken me way too long to blog these bad boys, but Buff Monster sent a bunch of his Melty Misfits cards over for us to take a gander at.

First of all it's clear to see from anyone that has owned some Garbage Pail Kids cards in their time, that these bad boys have been made with nothing but love for the original series. And if you didn't know already Buff has a massive collection of GPK cards including the rare alternate cards, misprints, un-diecut cards and proof sets - all the GPK rarities that the collectors desire!

And that's the great thing about these cards, not only are there the standard bunch of characters to collect, there are also Sketch Cards, Signed Cards, Varients and Error printed cards which gives the series the same feel for any GPK collector out there. I have to say I originally hadn't been convinced by the direction Buff's art has taken of late, preferring the super super tight and flat paintings in comparison to the newer 'looser' style. What I will say though is that this new style is perfect for more character driven art and is therefore the ideal choice for this series.

Each box of cards/stickers contains a full set of designs so it's well worth bagging one of them if you can. Also included in the box is a superb piece of printed Buff Monster art made from using different plates from the printing process. This artwork is printed on an uncut sheet of 4 Melty Misfits cards and is my highlight from this box, this is definitely getting framed.

Thinking i also need to lay out a sheet of these bad boys to put up as art too! Failing that i think original GPK stickers were always best displayed on a kids bmx frame (as were the few i had).

Def grab some while you can mofo's! Grab a box if you can!

1 Pack = $5 | Box (24packs) = $120
