Danielle Garafola is a young artist from upstate New York whose drawings are those of beings that exist in her mind. "For me drawing is the purest form of creativity," says Danielle. "My creatures are not meant to evoke feelings of fear or horror, but rather curiosity and imagination. I do not aim to create 'pretty' images nor do I wish to disturb. My drawings allow me to imitate nature and bring to life creatures that exist solely in my mind."
