John Santagada, after nine years working in the Collectible Toy Industry for the likes of DC Direct, Mezco Toyz, and Gemmy Industries, has decided to unleash his own original designs under the studio banner of Radioactive Uppercut. The studio's initial offering will be part of a larger line of Japanese vinyl cast figures, the Radioactive Rumblers, that are inspired by classic 80s toys, old monster movies, comic books, and the campy sci-fi/horror flicks of the 50s and 60s. Titled "8-BALL, the Terror From Space!" this first figure stands 4-inches tall and features 3 points of articulation (neck and both arms). To fund this outing, Santagada has begun a Kickstarter campaign filled with wonderful tier rewards, including the painted figure itself for $55 and a DIY blank version for only $35.
