Hmmm....really not looking forward to this now. Loving the promo poster by Dave Gibbons, happy Zack Snyder's directing (seeing how faithful 300 was to the comic's art), but not liking the cast list.
IMO there's 3 key characters: Rorschach, Dr Manhattan and Ozymandias and casting the peeps they have doesn't fill me with confidence. Billy bleedin' Crudup? Didn't they watch Almost Famous? Jason Lee should have been cast! Patrick Wilson as Nightowl could work cos he was good in Hard Candy.
But I guess so long as the script is good and they don't try and dumb it down for people (cough....V for Vendetta) they can't go far wrong....
